A family trattoria

It all started in 1991 with the opening of La Famiglia, a traditional Italian table, nestled a few steps away in the 17th district in Paris. Here, personalities from the artistic and sporting world and anonymous, jostle to taste the fresh pasta made by hand one by one by our chef Michela Calicchio.

No, in reality, everything starts long before ... in a small village near Naples, where the boss of La Famiglia and Il Grano grew up. From her childhood, in the South of Italy, she brought back in her suitcases a bouquet of sensory memories that she always wanted to share through her cooking.

Handcrafted and homemade tradition

Everything is 100% homemade and made on site including our bread and our desserts. By opening Il Grano in 2016, Michela and her daughter Rita offered the Pinsa Romana for the first time in Paris. This ancestor of pizza has since become an emblematic dish of our trattoria. Wines, truffles, cheeses, cold meats, olive oil, etc ... we also choose high quality products from Italian producers that we know personally and that changes everything!

Open kitchen, terrace, decoration celebrating wheat (Il grano means "grain of wheat" in Italian) ... we imagined this trattoria as a friendly, bright and warm space. Il Grano is also available to take away, on Deliveroo and soon in click & collect directly on our site!
